This adorable antique Edwardian heart locket is crafted in 9ct Rose Gold. Both faces of the locket are delicately engraved with the forms of forget me nots and ivy.
The tiny blue forget-me-not flowers were popular motifs for Edwardian jewellers, particularly within lockets, which were built to contain a picture of a loved one. Forget-me-nots were symbolic of remembrance and ivy was a symbol of fidelity. Paired with the overall heart shape, this makes this locket a potent token of love.
The locket is topped with a beautiful bow, which was a common feature in many Edwardian pieces.
