This fabulous Victorian Sterling Silver and Rose Gold locket is dated 1883.
The Locket displays beautiful engraved workmanship with ivy and ornate decoration throughout the diagonal design.
Ivy means “I cling to thee” and forget me nots is a symbol of never be forgotten.
The locket is all original, complete with inner windows and rims which can hold two photographs inside.
There are tiny dings on the reverse of the locket, this is minimal wear for such an old locket.
All set in Sterling Silver and Rose Gold, fully hallmarked Birmingham 1883.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history.
Looks stunning when worn, a great talking piece.
Weighs 19.6 grams.
Measures 39mm across x 50mm down x 70mm down including bale.
Excellent condition for it’s age.
