Whelk sea shells are used commonly in Native American jewelry. These are natural sea shells showing black and white stripes. I made 2 different pairs of earrings to choose from. One pair of shells is wire wrapped in non tarnish copper square wire, on stainless steel hooks. The second pair is wire wrapped in sterling silver half round wire, on sterling silver hooks. These earrings are very cute and dainty. They would make a great gift for friends and loved ones.
